In combination with the appropriate control device incl. simple control elements or via a system solution incl. ID card management, our barrier systems are ideal for your permanent parking system.
Individual control and management systems as well as customer-specific extensions offer you the right solution for every application. All components are fully tested for all functions in advance, ensuring fast fitting and reliable operation. Our barriers offer vandalism protection and, depending on the version, intelligent obstacle detection. Thanks to optional remote control via a web server, you can monitor and control your barrier systems remotely – even via smartphone if desired.
Our range offers you automatic barriers with a barrier width of up to 10 metres and flat, round and octagonal boom versions for various requirements.
Automatic barriers SH 50 / SH 100 with oval boom
Especially in non-public areas, such as company car parks or residential complexes, the spaces are used less frequently and the operators do not need a connection to payment options, as is necessary for public parking areas. To meet these requirements, Hörmann has the automatic barriers SH 50 and SH 100 in its range.
With the SH 50 with oval barrier boom, a maximum barrier width of 4.71 metres is achieved. Up to 500 cycles per day can be operated. The SH 100 is designed for 1000 cycles per day. The oval barrier boom blocks off a maximum width of 5.75 metres.
Automatic barrier SH 300
The automatic barrier SH 300 is available with a maximum barrier width of 3.75 metres.
Its particularly fast open time of approx. 2.4 seconds in combination with the high number of opening cycles per day (up to 5000) enables it to be used even at highly frequented entrances and exits. It is also particularly durable with up to 10 million overall cycles.
For locations with unlimited height, the barrier is available with a flat or round boom. For applications with limited height, the barrier SH 300 with folding boom can be used.
Automatic barrier SH 600
The automatic barrier SH 600 in the round boom version is particularly robust and offers a maximum barrier width of 6.14 metres. The opening and closing phase of this barrier version is less than 8 seconds with up to 1600 opening cycles per day. The boom holder on both sides provides additional stability.

In addition to induction loops, which give the impulse to open the perimeter protection system by means of presence detection, we offer many other options for operating barriers.
The integrated control unit in the barrier housing allows the barriers to be opened by means of stationary control elements such as code switches or by radio hand transmitter without the need for an additional control pillar.
In addition, barriers can also be opened via number plate recognition or far range reader, QR code using a smartphone or RFID / QR and transponder card in conjunction with a control pillar.

In addition to operating the barrier via radio or stationary control elements, each barrier control can be individually expanded according to customer requirements. This ensures straightforward integration of the barrier system into existing facility management systems and fire alarm systems. In addition, Hörmann offers a comprehensive ID card management system. Developed in-house, the system features customised entry and exit management. Access authorisation is granted using various identification media, e.g. QR code cards, RFID stickers or number plate recognition. At the same time, it is possible to manage user groups with different authorisation levels and time zones.
Remote control worldwide
With the optional web server connection, you can operate and manage barrier systems and the ID card management system anywhere in the world on any end device. They can be accessed via the web browser on your smartphone, tablet or PC. With the clearly structured web interface, it is possible to operate the entire barrier system, run status queries on the barrier system and carry out comprehensive user administration including entry and exit permits. What’s more, the web interface displays any faults that can then be rectified directly via the system.
Service-friendly components
The control unit is well protected and integrated directly into the barrier housing. The modular structure allows the convenient fitting or replacement of the individual components. This way, potential malfunctions can be quickly and easily recognised and resolved. Additional extensions, such as the module for the ID card management system, can be integrated into the barrier housing directly. By incorporating all components and extensions into the barrier housing, the effort required for maintenance and servicing is significantly reduced.

The functional test of the entire barrier and pay station system prior to delivery guarantees quick fitting and reliable operation. With Hörmann, all the desired functions and features of the individual system components are checked to exactly the same degree as the compatibility of all interfaces.
